Fire, one upward drag, crosshair climbing from chest to head as the rounds arrive — the drag headshot is technique and fit in equal measure. The fit is manufactured inside X3 Panel headshot setup by two settings operating as one system: general sensitivity, which powers the motion, and red dot sensitivity, which governs it under aim. This guide fits that system to your handset and your genuine swipe, then supplies the drill that converts fit into skill.

An honest preface, because it matters: settings create the conditions in which headshots become repeatable. The repetition is still yours to perform.

Two Sliders, One System

General owns the drag's raw travel — hip-fire movement and the swipe's native speed. Red dot owns the same motion inside the sight, where deliberate drags are actually executed. Tune in that order: the refinement is meaningless until the foundation beneath it is measured.

Scope sliders are spectators at this range and get their own session elsewhere. The complete charter of all six controls is drawn in our sliders explained guide.

Measure the Swipe You Actually Own

In training, assume position at an honest fight distance and deliver the drag your thumb produces unsupervised. Read the finish like instrumentation: expiration at the neck calls the governing value up in small steps; sailing beyond the head calls it down.

Twenty repetitions per verdict — solitary attempts are anecdotes wearing confidence. Then repeat the examination close in. The production configuration is the negotiated settlement between the two distances, and settlements chosen consciously at leisure outperform those discovered under fire.

Hardware Overrules Borrowed Numbers

Values drag differently across devices by arithmetic, not opinion: display dimensions stretch or compress the physical gesture, and DPI rescales the system's measurement of it. An arrangement that prints headshots on a large handset can be sincerely unusable on a compact one at identical figures.

Change handsets and you transport the method and the internal relationships, then recalibrate the level. The procedure is itemised in our phone size and DPI guide and costs an afternoon, once.

The Counted Drill

Ten minutes: one distance, one target, twenty drags, the score inscribed. Counted practice quarantines aim from the contaminants matches stir into it — loot, positioning, survival arithmetic — and aim is the variable under construction.

Chart the score across days. When it rises and then declines to fall back across three separate sessions, configuration and capability have formally merged, and the headshot has changed from event to rate. The wider drill library is our training testing guide.

Final Thoughts

Fit the pair to your authentic swipe at two distances, obey the hardware arithmetic, practise under audit. Headshots become a statistic — and statistics, unlike fortune, submit to deliberate improvement.
